After 3 minutes of play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Guillaume Barillot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justino Lujan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Barillot came free, but Justino Lujan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ruben Bénier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rencio Bergada in the 12th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Noël Clenet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Gérard Chambard got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes, Socavon FC's Franko Tio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noël Clenet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Socavon FC reached it. Guillaume Barillot had several of the Socavon FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Justino Lujan as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Yazid Debuire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Lujan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillaume Barillot in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Guillaume Barillot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Lujan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Gérard Chambard. Noël Clenet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iturri Soldevilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Barillot didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Diagur Mellado hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Yann Saillet got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Côme de Fresné's zone, Weather Rasines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noël Clenet came out of the goal and Weather Rasines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Barrenechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rencio Bergada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Lujan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Barillot, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Socavon FC's zone, Thibaut Abeille stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Lujan came out of the goal and Thibaut Abeille tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Yazid Debuire got a free kick in the 76th minute. Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Clenet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Côme de Fresné from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Yann Saillet hit a great ball. 83 minutes in the game, Rencio Bergada fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noël Clenet having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Socavon FC's Noël Clenet threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Weather Rasines, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Yann Saillet fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Yann Saillet a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yann Saillet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Weather Rasines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Socavon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Weather Rasines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Barrenechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noël Clenet having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Yazid Debuire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Lujan. Socavon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yazid Debuire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Socavon FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
