Serafino Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Sundström in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes WINNING ELEVEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carolus Rex who took care of the corner kick. Ingvar Sundström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 13th minute, Paul Käcker made a precise shot to the right of Serafino Polo. WINNING ELEVEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 17 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Adan Francho. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Aron Billström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kennet Broberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Pedro Erramu struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Johannes Lilja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WINNING ELEVEN. 27 minutes into the match, Ingvar Sundström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of WINNING ELEVEN's Serafino Polo. Serafino Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Golden Lions FC's Johannes Lilja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Lions FC from getting a goal against them. After 31 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Erramu. When Golden Lions FC's Paul Käcker in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WINNING ELEVEN's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Aron Billström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Polo. WINNING ELEVEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Billström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ingvar Sundström sped through WINNING ELEVEN's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafino Polo. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Kennet Broberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Johannes Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Hechter in the 42nd minute of the match. WINNING ELEVEN's Artemio Abancens pulled a muscle in his back after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 43 minutes into the game, Axel Samuelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WINNING ELEVEN the free kick. WINNING ELEVEN's Rigoberto Hechter suffered a concussion in the 46th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Kennet Broberg's late challenge caught a WINNING ELEVEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Broberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Kennet Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. WINNING ELEVEN's Adan Francho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Golden Lions FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The wind increased when Paul Käcker made the kick off in the second half. Serafino Polo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ingvar Sundström sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Ingvar Sundström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Lions FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 61 minutes of play, WINNING ELEVEN's Nereo Sanchez made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johannes Lilja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Santana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Ingvar Sundström got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Christian Quilino managed to get in a good position for a shot. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Quilino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Lilja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match, Paul Käcker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serafino Polo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Carolus Rex came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolus Rex couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Adan Francho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johannes Lilja. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johannes Lilja should have stopped the shot. Johannes Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Francho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bertil Hegg hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Ingvar Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Francho came free, but Johannes Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Bertil Hegg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Serafino Polo. The goal made the score 2-6. Nicanor Santana was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nicanor Santana hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Santos Garikoitz got a free kick in the 95th minute. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Hegg shot a long shot in the 98th minute and a light blocked Serafino Polo hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-7. The WINNING ELEVEN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Golden Lions FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Golden Lions FC.
