In the 4th minute, Bastian Selmser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Unterrudling fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, FC Unterrudling's Aaron Pfeifenberger made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Espiridion Abecia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eate Abaurre hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Bastian Selmser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc-Joel Kaspitz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's goal looked a bit too open when Vincente Abel came free, but Steffen Heeling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Etxahun Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Trame to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Kubisch came free, but Espiridion Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steffen Heeling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arotza Abajas in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Unterrudling defense, Loreto Abaurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steffen Heeling. The FC Unterrudling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steffen Heeling should have stopped the shot. Steffen Heeling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabat Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Benjamin Trame made a precise shot to the right of Espiridion Abecia. Kalatakaya F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bastian Selmser 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-4. Steffen Heeling came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalatakaya F.C.'s Xabat Abaurre. But to his dismay, Xabat Abaurre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Despite being the better team, Kalatakaya F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
