Waldemar Prusek kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Arnaldo Abeitia fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalatakaya F.C.'s protests and gave Arnaldo Abeitia a yellow card for diving instead. Rius Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Slawomir Sikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karpaty Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slawomir Sikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wasyl Sidorowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arotza Abajas in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Arotza Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wasyl Sidorowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toribio Abecia charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toribio Abecia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Kalatakaya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toribio Abecia to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Prusek came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bento Abeita could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrzej Filipowski got free with Bento Abeita in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wladyslaw Pietras kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arotza Abajas in the 38th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Kalatakaya F.C. defense, Andrzej Filipowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bento Abeita. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bento Abeita should have stopped the shot. Wasyl Sidorowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loreto Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Filipowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Perkowski came free, but Bento Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Pietras. Wasyl Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toribio Abecia in the 61st minute of the match. If Andrzej Filipowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karpaty Krosno's Wasyl Sidorowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Karpaty Krosno from getting a goal against them. After having played for 68 minutes, Dariusz Perkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karpaty Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Perkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bento Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Filipowski in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Wasyl Sidorowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loreto Abaurre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Filipowski in the 76th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Bento Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Arotza Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Sidorowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etxahun Abastas in the 82nd minute of play. Dariusz Perkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlan Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Perkowski in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Perkowski in the 99th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Bento Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
