Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) 2 minutes into the game, Ademir Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB 09 the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Senna to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Martinescu came free, but Márcio Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragoş Ivasiuc kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Ademir Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marian Morovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márcio Freitas was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Márcio Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Morovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Senna came free, but Filip Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Armando da Mata tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Mirciulescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The wind increased when Armando da Mata made the kick off in the second half. Ediberto de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Erasmo Correia fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Erasmo Correia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Erasmo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Sandu Bâru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Márcio Freitas. Sandu Bâru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Dragoş Ivasiuc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Trancoso came free, but Filip Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Bâru in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Martinescu to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Armando da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Mirciulescu. BVB 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After recieving a nice pass, Palmeiras's Zézinho Albuquerque tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hélio Guimarães hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, BVB 09's Marius Agulescu tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Armando da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Călin Olăroiu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Palmeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
