After 36 minutes of play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Jim Frisck made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brahim Charradi in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sofiane Charradi to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Conny Granberg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When Sofiane Charradi fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's protests and gave Sofiane Charradi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Charradi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Baltazar França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADM Taquaras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Étoile Sportive Du Sahel the free kick. If Conny Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Bergsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's Michel Gvardiol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 79th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Maia to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ADM Taquaras defense, Sofiane Charradi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubinho Abreu. The ADM Taquaras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubinho Abreu should have stopped the shot. Max Dahlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Porto in the 83rd minute of the match. Rubinho Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Karlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Max Dahlman came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Rafinha Porto. But to his dismay, Rafinha Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4.
