Saturnino Arraya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Stanciu in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Costel Craia got a free kick in the 14th minute. Dan Gavrilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Arraya having to interfere. Lesardo Gaztañondo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Vieru. Damian Vieru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Dan Gavrilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragoş Sălcudeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dan Gavrilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emerald's Damian Vieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedroso Alvaredo in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedroso Alvaredo was the one to do the kick off. Costel Craia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Saturnino Arraya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Sabaneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Tino Colmenarejo. In the 62nd minute, Dragoş Sălcudeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lesardo Gaztañondo in the 64th minute of the match. Sabaneta FC's Saturnino Arraya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Stanciu in the 68th minute of play. Saturnino Arraya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Gavrilă in the 72nd minute of play. Joaquín Román hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Nistor Stanciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Arraya having to make a save. Costel Craia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Marin Nicodim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Arraya. Sabaneta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Nicodim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
