After having played for 9 minutes, Costin Frânculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emerald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Frânculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 minutes Emerald's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lorenz Cedron who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute, Dragoş Sălcudeanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xian Aliprando. The goal made the score 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's Goizeder Pañalosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Vieru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Goizeder Pañalosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Emerald's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz Cedron came free, but Damian Vieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Huly Francia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AJ Juventus FC and the Emerald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AJ Juventus FC's Huly Francia got a free kick in the 30th minute. Lorenz Cedron might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damian Vieru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenz Cedron ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenz Cedron made a kick off. Alin Aldulea's late challenge caught a AJ Juventus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alin Aldulea helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Vieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenz Cedron, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Goizeder Pañalosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vieru having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Dragoş Sălcudeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xian Aliprando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Goizeder Pañalosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AJ Juventus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emerald the free kick. Damian Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenz Cedron in the 98th minute of the match. Emerald's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
