An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayrton Senna in the 11th minute of play forced Stat Veritas FC's goalkeeper Silvestre Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, John Profesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Frantzes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Silvestre Fernandez came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Waylon McQueen. But to his dismay, Waylon McQueen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Silvestre Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waylon McQueen's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Waylon McQueen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Waylon McQueen notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Stat Veritas FC's Silvestre Fernandez. Silvestre Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Atilano Txema left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stat Veritas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Waylon McQueen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Silvestre Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stat Veritas FC's Silvestre Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayrton Senna in the 40th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Txema to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Waylon McQueen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvestre Fernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silvestre Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayrton Senna in the 58th minute of the match. Amadeo Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ayrton Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Silvestre Fernandez made a huge save. In the 64th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Hayes to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's Damian Maura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvestre Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Stovall in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Txema in the 78th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper João Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Hayes during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amadeo Frantzes, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Stat Veritas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ayrton Senna sent off a good shot on target. The Stat Veritas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. New England Minas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
