Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Spoială came free, but Amador Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Andrei Arseanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Pădureanu in the 13th minute of play forced Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Amador Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Rodolfo Corderun got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Eugen Spoială managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Spoială was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Gitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Aristide Hodorog got a free kick in the 19th minute. Amador Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Arseanu in the 23rd minute of play. Amador Gitano came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Nicolae Pădureanu. But to his dismay, Nicolae Pădureanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 26 minutes, Eugen Spoială mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the Social y Dep. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugen Spoială kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Amador Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Giurcă in the 38th minute of play. Baltasar Kismi lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After having played for 45 minutes, Mihai Cîrțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Maci -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Cîrțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Arseanu got free with Amador Gitano in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th match minute, Social y Dep. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Corderun to maneuver through the defense. Amador Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Spoială, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Arseanu in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Alin Giurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Neaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantino Madaleno went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Maci -MM- booed when Social y Dep. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Gitano was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Alin Giurcă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alin Giurcă really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 83rd minute Constantino Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Neaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Madaleno came free, but Bogdan Neaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
