Damian Arapașu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Chus having to interfere. Laurențiu Burca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Romano in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Inocencio Indalecio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurențiu Burca skillfully saved the ball. Fidel Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Săvescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Anton Topală was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ..Villa Rugby Club.. the free kick. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Topală didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Burca was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Santos Romano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santos Romano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 29 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Strugure. Nae Mihăescu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Inocencio Indalecio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Nae Mihăescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Indalecio got free with Laurențiu Burca in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabian Verzea made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Panait Dănescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fidel Chus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Verzeas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Fidel Chus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Fabian Verzea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Chus was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Laurențiu Burca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Senon in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Sabin Strugure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes of play -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Anton Topală was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Laurențiu Burca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Tomás Senon got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 81 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Săvescu. In the 84th minute, one of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -BZF- Fc Gheraseni. The referee gave ..Villa Rugby Club.. a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Inocencio Indalecio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Laurențiu Burca. 2-0. In the 90th minute Santos Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Burca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Romano came free, but Laurențiu Burca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Romano in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Burca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurențiu Burca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Justin in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ..Villa Rugby Club...
