The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evandro Azeredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Utopía Muerta FC's Aurelio Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Azeredo in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Placido Abaunza could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Jacob Lameiras however easily saved by the left post. After 11 minutes, Micael Portugal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA COSA NOSTRA and the Utopía Muerta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Micael Portugal got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Utopía Muerta FC's Cayetano Tiniebra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacob Lameiras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 15th minute Micael Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Portugal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Afonso Portugal scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Mederi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Noel Curado hit a great ball. Noel Curado hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Azeredo to make the kick off. Afonso Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Utopía Muerta FC's Aurelio Mederi got control of the ball when Evandro Azeredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Placido Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as LA COSA NOSTRA's Micael Portugal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Mederi. That made the score 2-2 after 69 minutes of play. After 75 minutes of play, Utopía Muerta FC's Narciso Fix made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Lameiras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Abaunza scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Lameiras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cayetano Ponc's late challenge caught a LA COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Ponc helped the player get up and apologised. LA COSA NOSTRA's Jacob Lameiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Abaunza in the 95th minute of play.
