After 4 minutes of play, Liverpool FC's Iikka Haapaniemi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manne Ikola kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Tuukka Liimatainen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Kujan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Móric Rataj to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Móric Rataj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomi Pihlman came out of the goal and Móric Rataj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomi Pihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from František Bera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Móric Rataj might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomi Pihlman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Móric Rataj ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Kukova United's František Bera got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Iikka Haapaniemi charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iikka Haapaniemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomi Pihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Hronský in the 68th minute of play. Tomi Pihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Móric Rataj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomi Pihlman came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Kukova United's František Bera. But to his dismay, František Bera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. Tomi Pihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Bera in the 98th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liverpool FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kukova United.
