Oliver Kujan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Ove Nyström. 24 minutes into the game, Ľubomír Považský cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Börje Brummer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the game, Åke Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timmernabben FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kukova United the free kick. Åke Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Börje Brummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Móric Rataj went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With 38 minutes on the clock, Vladislav Slaninka commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After the first half Kukova United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matej Hronský was the one to do the kick off. Johannes Johansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timmernabben FF's Börje Brummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Timmernabben FF from getting a goal against them. Oliver Kujan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Kukova United's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Johansson came free, but Oliver Kujan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Kukova United defense, Lars Jeppesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Kujan. The Kukova United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Kujan should have stopped the shot. Kukova United's Oliver Kujan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Gustafsson in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben FF's Johannes Johansson got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Kukova United's František Bera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Börje Brummer. Börje Brummer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Ľubomír Považský kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börje Brummer. That made the score 2-4 in the 76 minute of play. Ľubomír Považský kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Kukova United's Matej Hronský pulled a muscle in his leg after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 88 minutes, Stig Täman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timmernabben FF and the Kukova United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kukova United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
