Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Werneck FC - DMZ's Caco Corrêa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Genílson Cardozo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarracino Owen in the 11th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Horacio Unzaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Pere Sáenz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Paulo Fernandez. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pere Sáenz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zé Paulo Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Horacio Unzaga sent off a good shot on target. Breno Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gabriel Sologuren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26th play minutes Pere Sáenz shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Zé Paulo Fernandez and just under the crossbar into goal. 31 minutes into the game, Carmelo Avalos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Paulo Fernandez. Carmelo Avalos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Avalos in the 40th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pere Sáenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Jacinto das Neves hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Unzaga came free, but Zé Paulo Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Mário Mendes. In the 57th minute of the match Sarracino Owen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Paulo Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 57th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miquel Jaña to maneuver through the defense. Zé Paulo Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pere Sáenz's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Zé Paulo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Delgado in the 61st minute of play. Zé Paulo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Avalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Zé Paulo Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pere Sáenz went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Zé Paulo Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Pere Sáenz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Fernandez. Zé Paulo Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Werneck FC - DMZ defense, Pere Sáenz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Fernandez. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Fernandez should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute Carmelo Avalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miquel Jaña during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Miquel Jaña. General Velásquez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
