Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Gayo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 7 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Guazo. György Udvari's late challenge caught a Astillero del Guayas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. György Udvari helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Szajk LC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. György Udvari hit a great ball. Victoriano Fortuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrián Vámosi made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Astillero del Guayas's Videl Amaya. Szajk LC's Álmos Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Fortuño in the 17th minute of play. Corozo Nevares came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Szajk LC's István Tulipán. But to his dismay, István Tulipán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Victoriano Fortuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Álmos Simon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 29 in the game by Omar Gayo from a close distance when the talented Álmos Simon managed to make a qualified save. Szajk LC's players were relieved. The Szajk LC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Szajk LC's István Tulipán looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcelino Sisquella hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marcelino Sisquella hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Ákos Szalontai made a precise shot to the right of Corozo Nevares. Astillero del Guayas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for István Tulipán to strike the kick off in the second half. Ákos Szalontai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Corozo Nevares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Omar Gayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astillero del Guayas's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Gayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álmos Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With splendid footwork István Tulipán arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 74th minute. In the 80th minute, Victoriano Fortuño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute István Tulipán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corozo Nevares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álmos Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarbonin Aenlle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork István Tulipán arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 87th minute. Brúnó Selymes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Álmos Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Fortuño in the 94th minute of play. The Szajk LC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szajk LC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
