Spectators: 7683 (Terracing: 5763, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) Ivan Marques started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eustacio Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Maurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Ildefonso Balesio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Maurin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eustacio Rito hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Estudiantes de América's Anselmo Orlan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anselmo Orlan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Estudiantes de América protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anselmo Orlan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rolando Erasto had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Saverio Weather's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bernardo Quiroga charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Quiroga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Black Sky FC booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Erasto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Eutor got free with Rolando Erasto in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustacio Rito struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Leandro Maurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. In the 26th minute, Aureliano Resto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Rito in the 30th minute of play forced Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Leandro Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Marques got free with Rolando Erasto in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Ivan Marques notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto. Rolando Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rolando Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Lopez might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Erasto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Lopez ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de América's Eustacio Rito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Maurin. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Rito got free with Leandro Maurin in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejandro Argenis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Black Sky FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estudiantes de América's performance. The match ended with a win for Estudiantes de América.
