A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Juanita. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Juanita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eustacio Rito was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Atletico Juanita's goalie and right to Isaias Caetano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Atletico Juanita's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Silvano Guib's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evelio Crispo was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Guib in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Crispo saved Club Atletico Juanita from getting behind. In the 34th minute Silvano Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Crispo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Silvano Guib sped through Club Atletico Juanita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evelio Crispo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Guib stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ildefonso Balesio helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Balesio. 86 minutes into the game, Silvano Guib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes de América's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Juanita the free kick. Freddy Esquipula took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Erasto. Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Erasto came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Juanita's Ernesto Nevada. But to his dismay, Ernesto Nevada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ildefonso Balesio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Evelio Crispo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Ernesto Nevada notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto. Rolando Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atletico Juanita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
