Trifon Aspiridis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Aresti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. When Alexandros Kabanis fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool F.C. YNWA's protests and gave Alexandros Kabanis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Invisible booed when Liverpool F.C. YNWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Chatzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Lugo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Clodoveo Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Boulgouridis in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute Tasos Kourebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikitas Roussakis charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikitas Roussakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nikitas Roussakis hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vladimiros Kaklamanakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Eneko in the 15th minute of play. Invisible's Dante Hunfredo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Trifon Aspiridis, made in the 20th minute of the game. Alexandros Kabanis made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Trifon Aspiridis immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Invisible's Roque Eneko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimiros Kaklamanakos. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Invisible's Clodoveo Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Boulgouridis in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Tasos Kourebes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tasos Kourebes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Invisible's goal looked a bit too open when Tasos Kourebes came free, but Clodoveo Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dante Hunfredo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invisible's protests and gave Dante Hunfredo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Invisible's Dante Hunfredo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giorgos Boulgouridis was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Invisible's Dario Abaunza got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Invisible's Clodoveo Aresti got control of the ball when Giorgos Boulgouridis tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Matteo in the 58th minute of play forced Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goalkeeper Vladimiros Kaklamanakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trifon Aspiridis hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Thymios Chionidis was substituted for Takis Michaloliakos. Clodoveo Aresti made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Giorgos Boulgouridis sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Invisible's goal looked a bit too open when Tasos Kourebes came free, but Clodoveo Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Tasos Kourebes could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Clodoveo Aresti however easily saved by the left post. In the 75th minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Giorgos Parmezanas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clodoveo Aresti. Clodoveo Aresti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Orlandus during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldo Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Tasos Kourebess short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Clodoveo Aresti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Giorgos Boulgouridis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Aresti was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Invisible's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Tasos Kourebes scored to the left of an out of position Clodoveo Aresti, making the score, 1-2. Markos Tsevas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Clodoveo Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Thymios Chionidis could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Clodoveo Aresti however easily saved by the left post. Giorgos Boulgouridis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Clodoveo Aresti made a huge save. If Giorgos Boulgouridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Liverpool F.C. YNWA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
