An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Arlo in the 20th minute of play forced FC Muuga United's goalkeeper Gunnar Taigur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Endel Alev during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Muuga United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Valter Vaarandi hit a great ball. Kuido Põldmaa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Eustacio Rito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Balesio was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lembit Laos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, FC Muuga United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argo Nool to maneuver through the defense. Argo Nool hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gunnar Taigur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Rito in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Ildefonso Balesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Gunnar Taigur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estudiantes de América fully deserved thier win.
