When Izydor Gdowik came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the KS Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Gdowik couldn't finish the play. Jaroslaw Furtok received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciprian Enache came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaroslaw Furtok slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Ciprian Enache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Furtok in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Wallach to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the KS Ruch Chorzów defense, Petru Isopescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boleslaw Chlapowski. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boleslaw Chlapowski should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Radomir Bucyki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Robert Vlăsiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A4p FC Gad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Ruch Chorzów the free kick. Roland Japola's late challenge caught a A4p FC Gad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Japola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Japola to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, KS Ruch Chorzów's Karol Kornatowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciprian Enache. Ciprian Enache yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Bogdan Gdaniec fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Ruch Chorzów's protests and gave Bogdan Gdaniec a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Bogdan Gdaniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Dziatkowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Dziatkowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when KS Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Dziatkowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petru Isopescu to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Bulă to maneuver through the defense. Ciprian Enache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Kornatowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jaroslaw Furtok managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaroslaw Furtok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Enache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Matei Goanță replaced Horea Macamete. In the 73rd minute Karol Kornatowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Enache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Enache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Kornatowski in the 77th minute of the match. Ciprian Enache came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Ruch Chorzów's Jaroslaw Furtok. But to his dismay, Jaroslaw Furtok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 85th minute, Roland Japola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Jaroslaw Furtok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Enache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
