Brzeźnica Lynx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Mavericks the free kick. If Téo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Mavericks's zone, Radomir Dres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rony Paiva came out of the goal and Radomir Dres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomir Dres to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Téo Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Mavericks and the Brzeźnica Lynx players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th minute, Téo Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Mesquita in the 59th minute of play forced Brzeźnica Lynx's goalkeeper Dobromir Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brzeźnica Lynx's Dobromir Robak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Mesquita in the 84th minute of play. Alfredão Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dobromir Robak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Mavericks. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Cabral in the 95th minute of play forced Brzeźnica Lynx's goalkeeper Dobromir Robak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Brzeźnica Lynx players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
