Podador Santelices showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Faraggi in the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Ariztía during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Godofredo Mac Intyre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Jose Navarro's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Lautaro L.P. booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Ariztía didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pol Botero's late challenge caught a CRUZ DEL SUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pate Vaca made a kick off. A collision led to Lautaro L.P. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carlos Hernán Manosalva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match.
