After a defensive mix-up in Trabzon's zone, Herbert Traczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. kaya Tümerdem came out of the goal and Herbert Traczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Boruc Haskiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Anıl Arda Özakay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzon's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Arda Özakay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trabzon's Vahit İltemur got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Chlebek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazar Tunçkol in the 72nd minute of the match. Trabzon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
