The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, José Ignacio Berguecio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Sabina to maneuver through the defense. José Ignacio Berguecio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Rajoi having to make a save. Ximo Tobias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Mac Intyre having to interfere. If Ximo Tobias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Rajoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Ignacio Berguecio's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Reyes Fell kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Ignacio Berguecio in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Rajoi saved SC Pfullendorf from getting behind. CRUZ DEL SUR's José Ignacio Berguecio got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferrán Casas lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Marquez Tobias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Pfullendorf's Salvador Rajoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SC Pfullendorf from getting a goal against them. When Ascencio Lara fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pfullendorf's protests and gave Ascencio Lara a yellow card for diving instead. Ascencio Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, SC Pfullendorf's Salvador Rajoi got control of the ball when Juan Manuel Vlahovic tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Pfullendorf made a substitution. Kiko Pastor replaced Leandro Sabina. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Godofredo Mac Intyre made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Senen Castellano sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Loramendi Jurado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Juan Manuel Vlahovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Manuel Vlahovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Rajoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Pfullendorf's Garci Macho got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Aaron Zamorano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Senen Castellano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pfullendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Senen Castellano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Zamorano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Adam Faraggi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Senen Castellano sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th match minute, SC Pfullendorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garci Macho to maneuver through the defense. CRUZ DEL SUR's Odol Rojas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Pfullendorf. 92 minutes into the match, Juan Manuel Vlahovic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Rajoi. SC Pfullendorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Manuel Vlahovic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.
