The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Břetislav Úlehla during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reconquistense FC's Victoriano Stanislao was substituted for Dalmacio Ciceron. In the 31st minute, Břetislav Úlehla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reconquistense FC's Ladislao Neron got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game Michail Bulant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reconquistense FC's Reynaldo Argi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reynaldo Argi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Václav Zlámal went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Reynaldo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleš Koutný in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Břetislav Úlehla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Calvino was the one to do the kick off. Michail Bulant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Argi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play.
