Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dráusio Toscano started the match with the kick off. Benedito Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Dráusio Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reine Pettersson. Preator Edikt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráusio Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Benedito Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson. Benedito Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Preator Edikt's Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Nóbrega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Galo do Japi's Ademir Carvalho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reine Pettersson. Reine Pettersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Olof Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Ademir Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Reine Pettersson made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olof Östman to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Östman to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Larsfelt to maneuver through the defense. The shot was stopped by Benedito Nóbrega but with some difficulty. After 68 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Arruda. When Kléber Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo do Japi's protests and gave Kléber Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Kléber Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Arruda in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Preator Edikt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Galo do Japi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
