Benedito Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Vulcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 19th minute, Denílson Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Daniele Vulcano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedito Nóbrega. Galo do Japi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniele Vulcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benedito Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo De Francesco in the 29th minute of the match. Benedito Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Andreola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denílson Urbano during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Coriano FC booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Kléber Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráusio Toscano was the one to do the kick off. When Alessandro Garofalo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coriano FC's protests and gave Alessandro Garofalo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 50th minute of the game. One of Coriano FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galo do Japi:s goal. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Galo do Japi. Diogo Breckenfeld stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dino Cara. 1-2. 55 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Benedito Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniele Vulcano. Galo do Japi were furious when Fábio Nascimento was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fábio Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Fábio Nascimento got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Camillo De Francesco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedito Nóbrega skillfully saved the ball. Galo do Japi's Benedito Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Garofalo in the 61st minute of play. Camillo De Francesco hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Dudu Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo De Francesco came free, but Benedito Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Denílson Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Cara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galo do Japi's Denílson Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedito Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo De Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Luís Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dino Cara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
