The Preator Edikt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reine Pettersson should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Olof Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Little saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Finn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reine Pettersson having to make a save. Rusty Little was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olof Östman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. Olof Östman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rusty Little having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson got free with Rusty Little in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rusty Little made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Olof Östman sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lawrence Smart's late challenge caught a Preator Edikt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 87 minutes of play, Santos FC's Pedro Finn made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reine Pettersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Milton Heath kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ivar Lundgren hit a great ball. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Heath in the 96th minute of the match. The Santos FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Preator Edikt from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
