The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Grigore Mavrodin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's Marcelino Erauso. Marcelino Erauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Vasile Gârdescu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's protests and gave Vasile Gârdescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Gârdescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hipolito Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Mihail Onaca got control of the ball when Jorge Jerico tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Costică Darabonț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS the free kick. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Costică Darabonț got a free kick in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Jerico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihail Onaca. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Mihail Onaca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Jerico. After 45 minutes, Aurelian Ivan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA and the JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelian Ivan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were winning 1-2.

Jorge Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Onaca having to interfere. Hipolito Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihail Onaca came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's Jorge Jerico. But to his dismay, Jorge Jerico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Mavrodin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Erauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Amor hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Grigore Mavrodin in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's goalie prevented a goal. Vasile Gârdescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Vasile Gârdescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th match minute, JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Mihail Onaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
