Halcon Sport 69's Tabby Leceta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Calvet in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Germano Gestoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halcon Sport 69's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Halcon Sport 69 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Gestoso to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Endura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tabby Leceta. Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 9 minutes, Gustavo Lizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermosillo FC and the Halcon Sport 69 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. Gillermo Serrano scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvano Benat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Afonso in the 15th minute of play forced Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper Tabby Leceta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Benat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gillermo Serrano's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Lizar. In the 25th minute, Cecilio Afonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tabby Leceta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ofelio Borizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Silvano Benat made a huge save. Angelo Constancio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Constancio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Angelo Constancio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Halcon Sport 69 defense, Eusebio Calvet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tabby Leceta. The Halcon Sport 69 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tabby Leceta should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hermosillo FC's zone, Gillermo Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Benat came out of the goal and Gillermo Serrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silvano Benat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 48 minutes, Fresco Ceron made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gillermo Serrano was the one to do the kick off. Silvano Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boniel Tama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes, Halcon Sport 69's Jacobo Pan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvano Benat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halcon Sport 69 reached it. Silvano Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gillermo Serrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Silvano Benat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boniel Tama went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Halcon Sport 69's Ofelio Borizar got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillerme Guereña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Silvano Benat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Fresco Ceron. In the 71st minute, Hermosillo FC's Cecilio Afonso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Silvano Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gillermo Serrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Boniel Tama notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat. Silvano Benat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute Boniel Tama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halcon Sport 69 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hermosillo FC for a fine match.
