Spectators: 7825 (Terracing: 5870, Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 156) When Bengt-Åke Helander fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skene's protests and gave Bengt-Åke Helander a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Skene getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Helander hit a great ball. Igor Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 14 minutes of play Skene's Bengt-Åke Helander was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 16th match minute, Skene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Stenman to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Marcelo Alagoano in the 17th minute really tested Tord Thorsberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Villa Verde FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Horácio Ceresso hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Villa Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Skene's Tord Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Baiano in the 24th minute of play. Igor Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Hagberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Ekenberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Villa Verde FC's Afonso Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tord Thorsberg. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Vergílio in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Thorsberg saved Skene from getting behind. With his leg Tord Thorsberg managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Villa Verde FC's Afonso Baiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Luizão Cardozo made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Willian Vergílio immediately put the ball in play. 61 minutes into the match, Skene's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Baiano came free, but Tord Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Skene's Richard Hagberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 72 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Stenman came free, but Igor Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Skene's Richard Hagberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Skene's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
