Edgardo Lleir's late challenge caught a Go Ahead Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Lleir helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot by Ntinos Vounatsos from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Amancio Paez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Godofredo Fix was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Falckner FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Go Ahead Eagles:s goal. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Go Ahead Eagles's Panagiotis Beloukas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amancio Paez. 93 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goalkeeper Amancio Paez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Bourousis. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manos Christodoulou got free with Amancio Paez in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Victorio Claus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Paez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ntinos Vounatsos. Go Ahead Eagles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
