Candido Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Skonieczny in the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the RKS Królewscy defense, Pedro Maraman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Dudek. The RKS Królewscy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Dudek should have stopped the shot. Alvaro Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Misiewicz in the 35th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Candido Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of RKS Królewscy booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Majkowski's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Majkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, RKS Królewscy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Majkowski to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Siembab lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, one of RKS Królewscy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RKS Królewscy. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Palermo. Leonides Elizardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jerzy Dudek. 2-2. Fabian Gollob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Candido Millan made a huge save. Baldomiro Gamus might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerzy Dudek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Gamus ran back to his position shaking his head. When Leonides Elizardo fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Leonides Elizardo a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, RKS Królewscy's Gustaw Misiewicz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Candido Millan. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. RKS Królewscy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
