Spectators: 7666 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark Montebello took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mark Cuschieri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Goizeder Rabanal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goizeder Rabanal in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dylan Pizzuto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teyo Vana kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Tiago Somarriba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Cuschieri in the 21st minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Templars FC got a corner. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark Cuschieri ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Liam Rolè fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Templars FC's protests and gave Liam Rolè a yellow card for diving instead. If Peter Degiorgio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mark Montebello came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Montebello couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Goizeder Rabanal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Pizzuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Pizzuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goizeder Rabanal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Goizeder Rabanal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Pizzuto. Templars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Goizeder Rabanal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 47th minute, Locaio Perdiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dylan Pizzuto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Goizeder Rabanal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dylan Pizzuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goizeder Rabanal, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 64th minute, Locaio Perdiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Cuschieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Templars FC's Dylan Pizzuto got control of the ball when Goizeder Rabanal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Degiorgio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mark Montebello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Tiago Somarriba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Mark Cuschieri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Templars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Liam Rolè had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
