The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Tokarczyk came free, but Abdulkerim Bir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Jurand Sroka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkerim Bir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Serdar Dursun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edward Damazki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes, Rıfkı Süvari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nevşehirspor and the Pogoń Stawiszyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rıfkı Süvari kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Ignacy Kluska ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulkerim Bir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Serdar Dursun came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Nevşehirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serdar Dursun couldn't finish the play. Edward Damazki made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Serdar Dursun sent off a good shot on target. Jerzy Zawaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacy Kluska scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdulkerim Bir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hieronim Percha charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hieronim Percha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hieronim Percha hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Kluska in the 46th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Abdulkerim Bir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ecevit Tan was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute Lucjan Tokarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkerim Bir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Sroka in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdulkerim Bir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rıfkı Süvari was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. In the 85th minute, Rıfkı Süvari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olcay Geylan hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Jerzy Zawaski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Zawaski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jurand Sroka came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pogoń Stawiszyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurand Sroka couldn't finish the play. Pogoń Stawiszyn played a much better game than Nevşehirspor and deserved their victory. The Nevşehirspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
