The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kiur Aluste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's Serdar Dursun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alo Laving narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Kiur Aluste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abdulkerim Bir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 minutes, Ahti Hanni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila and the Nevşehirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahti Hanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Onuralp Kose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nevşehirspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Onuralp Kose got a free kick in the 17th minute. Abdulkerim Bir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aare Kõiv in the 21st minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Lõvi. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiur Aluste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulkerim Bir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aare Kõiv in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Ahmet Seyfi Güneş got a free kick in the 35th minute. Nevşehirspor's Abdulkerim Bir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aare Kõiv in the 37th minute of play. Kiur Aluste took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulkerim Bir. Abdulkerim Bir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kiur Aluste made the kick off in the second half. Abdulkerim Bir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kiur Aluste in the 51st minute. 51 minutes into the game, Serdar Dursun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nevşehirspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serdar Dursun to maneuver through the defense. Arvi Tuulemaa charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvi Tuulemaa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute Serdar Dursun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alo Laving saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Serdar Dursun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nevşehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Ateş Samih kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Alo Laving showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Dursun, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Ecevit Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Serdar Dursun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alo Laving was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6. In the 96th minute, Vila's Kiur Aluste ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdulkerim Bir. Abdulkerim Bir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vila walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
