After a defensive mix-up in Gutenberg's zone, Severino Borniquell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Videl came out of the goal and Severino Borniquell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paskal Panguision in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Basilio Colomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Dominguez. After having played for 12 minutes, Prospero Rasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Rasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Ritchie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gutenberg's Cristobal Fliz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Paskal Panguision sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Dominguez came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Basilio Colomes could save by the left post. Gutenberg's Esteve Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Rasa in the 25th minute of play. Prospero Rasa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Ritchie came free, but Basilio Colomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Colomes made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Bernardo Lawrence sent off a good shot on target. Basilio Colomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Colomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Peruanton went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Santo Dominguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gutenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Golden Dragón F.C's Basilio Colomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Peruanton in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Nalo Cambas got a free kick in the 94th minute. Baldomero Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Lawrence in the 97th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Basilio Colomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golden Dragón F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gutenberg.
