Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 16th minute Aureliano Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Colomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Victoriano Donio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victoriano Donio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victoriano Donio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Prospero Rasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Prospero Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josu Mendibuey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
