In the 3rd minute of the match Gervasio Dei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Grimalschi skillfully saved the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Gervasio Dei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Puturoasa the free kick. Gervasio Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Bumbu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lino Garoa. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 22 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Bumbu. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Leonardo Astrada put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anton Grimalschi. With an all-out effort, UFC Puturoasa's Lino Garoa threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pavel Spãtaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anton Grimalschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Grimalschi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Telo in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes in the game, Cornel Vornic fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lino Garoa having to interfere. Lino Garoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Bumbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Lino Garoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihai Briceag in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Pavel Spãtaru made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Leonardo Astrada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Grimalschi. Leonardo Astrada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. 58 minutes into the match, Cesar Telo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anton Grimalschi, 2-5. In the 61st minute, Cornel Vornic made a precise shot to the right of Lino Garoa. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. In the 63rd minute Cesar Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Grimalschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, UFC Puturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cãtãlin Istrate to maneuver through the defense. UFC Puturoasa's Vlad Juravschi was substituted for Simion Jereghi. When Gervasio Dei was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Gervasio Dei hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Spãtaru in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Garoa saved Crottos Crotters F.C. from getting behind. Cesar Telo's late challenge caught a UFC Puturoasa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Telo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of UFC Puturoasa booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Eugen Bumbu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UFC Puturoasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crottos Crotters F.C. the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Placido Bero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cornel Vornic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Crottos Crotters F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Crottos Crotters F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
