Laércio Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benito Guter made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Henrico in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Enol in the 25th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Enol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Lander in the 93rd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agua Santa were furious when Jânio Arantes was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jânio Arantes hit a great ball. Many of Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cartero de Agronomia F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Agua Santa were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
