Spectators: 7954 (Terracing: 5967, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldão Trevisan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cactos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Passos in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute, Arlindo Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Peace Home Street Boys getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Inge Flinck hit a great ball. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marco Carvalho hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Peace Home Street Boys's Ragnar Nordstedt got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes, Cactos's Jorge Passos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sixten Molander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cactos reached it. Ronaldão Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixten Molander came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldão Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Inge Flinck hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes, Cactos's Marco Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sixten Molander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cactos reached it. After having played for 42 minutes, Ronaldão Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cactos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldão Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gernando Domingues came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Peace Home Street Boys's Inge Flinck. But to his dismay, Inge Flinck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inge Flinck to make the kick off. After 65 minutes, Mathias Dahlbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peace Home Street Boys and the Cactos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Peace Home Street Boys getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mathias Dahlbom hit a great ball. Sixten Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Walmyr Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmyr Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Walmyr Loureiro got a free kick in the 75th minute. Charles Julin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragnar Nordstedt hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Peace Home Street Boys were furious when Rune Gustafsson was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 79th minute, one of Peace Home Street Boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peace Home Street Boys. In the 90th minute, Peace Home Street Boys's Mathias Dahlbom ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gernando Domingues. Gernando Domingues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marco Carvalho hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Peace Home Street Boys failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
