The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Gustavo Bermudo got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Romulo Huly got a free kick in the 17th minute. Apolo Dimas charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Bernardino Lander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Esiquio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomás Esiquio made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alfredo Henrico sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th match minute, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Otsoko hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match.

The Cavern Club made a substitution. Mauro Luix replaced Basilio Lorien. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Gauargi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Errando in the 57th minute of play. Tomás Esiquio came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Anselmo Errando. But to his dismay, Anselmo Errando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bernardino Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Esiquio having to interfere. The supporters of Cartero de Agronomia F.C. booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Atarrabi charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 85th minute Bernardino Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mauro Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite The Cavern Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
