Rafael Soares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nemesio Bernal. Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gabriel Bezerra scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Bernal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Figueiredo in the 31st minute of play forced Pakorro AFC's goalkeeper Nemesio Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes, Pakorro AFC's Isaias Murillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 50 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Sena. After some careless play in the Los Hermanos CIMZ defense, Julian Galo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saraiva. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saraiva should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Pakorro AFC's Alfredo Barea got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pakorro AFC's Marcos Pabla was substituted for Timoteo Corderun. A collision led to Pakorro AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alfredo Barea hit a great ball. After 58 played minutes, Los Hermanos CIMZ's Wilian da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nemesio Bernal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Pakorro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Barea to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Bernal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabriel Bezerra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Galo in the 80th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Oscar Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hermanos CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After 94 minutes, Alfredo Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pakorro AFC and the Los Hermanos CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
