In the 14th match minute, Pakorro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Corderun to maneuver through the defense. Bartoli Navagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Vizcaya in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Bernal saved Pakorro AFC from getting behind. Bartoli Navagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Corderun in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Pakorro AFC's Augusto Chorche made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartoli Navagos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, Isaac Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pakorro AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S.D Punta Ballena the free kick. Nemesio Bernal had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Ostadar Ruega's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jorge Rocio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bartoli Navagos made a huge save. After 64 minutes, Baudelio Valls mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S.D Punta Ballena and the Pakorro AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Baudelio Valls hit a great ball. C.S.D Punta Ballena made a substitution. Rodas Igarza replaced Larra Briz.
