Valentinos Kanellakis, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antony Buddle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Christos Giannou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Hemphill having to interfere. Junior Hemphill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentinos Kanellakis in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Daron Thorne got a free kick in the 85th minute. Valentinos Kanellakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Hemphill having to interfere. Giorgos Maragozis's late challenge caught a Khachatryan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Maragozis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Maragozis to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Kerkyra FC got a corner. Khachatryan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valentinos Kanellakis ran over to the corner to take the kick.
