Martin Ostadar came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by вιℓтємα's Karl Nyberg. But to his dismay, Karl Nyberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 24th minute Dan Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute вιℓтємα were awarded a corner. Sven-Ove Paulin went to the cornerflag to take it. Karl Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ostadar having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, one of вιℓтємα:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Inge Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Victor Steven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Inge Bure made a huge save. After 44 minutes, Oskar Boman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the вιℓтємα and the Les Tigres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oskar Boman kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Paulino Orixe kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Victor Steven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Bure was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Paulin couldn't finish the play. Inge Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inge Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 63rd minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ostadar having to interfere. Dan Lindström hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Paulino Orixe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Rigoberto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Iratze scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Bure, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Tano. вιℓтємα's Sven-Ove Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Persson in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Les Tigres could leave the field as winners, despite вιℓтємα having more of the ball for most of the match.
