Spectators: 8008 (Terracing: 6008, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. László Nemes started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Hugon Waldoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Fikus hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match György Király shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislaw Wachna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. György Király didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slawomir Fleischer kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. FC Saxon's Stanislaw Wachna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Király in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Tamás Lovas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Ábel Barta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Daszkowski. Stanislaw Wachna came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungarian Olympic's László Müller. But to his dismay, László Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 30th minute László Nemes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Wachna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. László Nemes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislaw Wachna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Stefan Daszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's goal looked a bit too open when László Müller came free, but Stanislaw Wachna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Stefan Daszkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Saxon and the Hungarian Olympic players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that László Müller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislaw Wachna was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Hugon Waldoch kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugon Waldoch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Müller in the 51st minute of play forced FC Saxon's goalkeeper Stanislaw Wachna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute László Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Wachna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Saxon booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Lovas didn't get a good kick on the ball. László Müller did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Stanislaw Wachna 60 minutes into the match. Stanislaw Wachna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, László Nemes made a precise shot to the right of Stanislaw Wachna. FC Saxon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 80th minute Stefan Daszkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ábel Barta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. László Nemes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanislaw Wachna came out and tried to block the shot, but László Nemes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Daszkowski in the 92nd minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Ábel Barta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
