An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Horațiu in the 13th minute of play forced Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Eriberto Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Răchită in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Pudes. Ulises Frutos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Emilian Horațiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Sindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Traian Pantea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Juvenal in the 43rd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pompiliu Cristescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Sindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Torouţ in the 52nd minute. Eriberto Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Răchită in the 54th minute of play. Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Răchită in the 57th minute of play. Augustin Torouţ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Eriberto Sindo made a huge save. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when Deportivo Diamante U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Sindo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Chihaia in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute Aristide Chihaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Pirro charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Pirro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute Jeronimo Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Pantea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Ares FC -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Victor Răchită. In the 82nd match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Onitiu to maneuver through the defense. Traian Pantea came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Diamante U18's Jeronimo Pudes. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Pudes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ares FC -MM-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
