An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Valle in the 3rd minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Gaufred Sagarteguieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scarlet Speedster's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kauan Valle in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuriko Ballin to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Vizcaino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scarlet Speedster's Kauan Valle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nacional. In the 13th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuriko Ballin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mauricio Panero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Panero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldão Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronaldão Lucas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauricio Panero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After 24 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Rossi. Gaufred Sagarteguieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Valle's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Scarlet Speedster's Ronaldão Lucas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Scarlet Speedster from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Kauan Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kauan Valle's late challenge caught a Nacional's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauan Valle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kauan Valle hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Percy Capixaba. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Chus Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Kauan Valle sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nacional's Gaufred Sagarteguieta didn't even have to move. Saturnino Vizcaino hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Scarlet Speedster's Kauan Valle shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gaufred Sagarteguieta but with some difficulty. Gaufred Sagarteguieta was a little too slow when José Carlos Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 68th minute José Carlos Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaufred Sagarteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Scarlet Speedster's Kauan Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaufred Sagarteguieta. Gaufred Sagarteguieta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ronaldão Lucas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Panero went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Zuriko Ballin fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacional's protests and gave Zuriko Ballin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nacional's Zuriko Ballin got a free kick in the 84th minute. Gaufred Sagarteguieta made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when José Carlos Castro sent off a good shot on target. The Scarlet Speedster players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nacional from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
